On 5 and 6 September 2026, Agmo Academy ran its Claude Certified Associate class at iSpace, Damansara. Most people who sign up for an AI course are adults with a work problem to solve, so when a family of three joined the class, a few heads turned.
The son was 11 years old, had flown in from Sabah, and was the youngest person in the room by a long way. His mum and dad sat right beside him, taking the same course.
Three people, one set of problems
Nobody in this family was just along for the ride. All three spent the same days on the same problems, drawing ideas on paper, arguing over them, and then building with Claude on their laptops.
Parents and children don’t often learn the same thing at the same pace in the same room. Here they did, and every discussion had three perspectives instead of one. The son brought the fresh questions, and his parents brought the work experience.
What this says about the next generation
This family’s story says something about the next generation. Children don’t have to wait until they are older to learn how AI works, what it gets wrong, and how to use it well. And when parents learn alongside them, the conversation at home becomes a shared one.
About the program
The Claude Certified Associate program is designed for both technical and non-technical professionals who want to use Claude well at work. Claude is the primary focus of the course, and Agmo Studio is a Select Partner of the Anthropic Claude Partner Network. Full details are on the Claude Certified Associate program page.
