CCAR-F Exam Format, Fee, Retakes and Renewal (Pearson VUE, 2026)

The exam

  • 60 scenario-based multiple-choice questions (one of four), drawn from four of six scenarios.
  • 120 minutes — about two minutes per question.
  • Scored 100–1,000; pass at 720.
  • Taken through Pearson OnVUE (online) or a test center, closed-book — no notes and no Claude.
  • No mandatory prerequisites.

What changed on 30 June 2026

Anthropic moved the exam onto Pearson VUE. The exam content and domains are unchanged; the policies around it are new.

Register through Anthropic's exam access request page. The exam fee is paid to Anthropic and is separate from any Agmo Academy workshop fee. Rules and fees can change — check Anthropic's current policy before you book.
